The GRC production process is the key to achieving its outstanding performance. Mainstream processes include "spraying process, premixing process, mesh-laying process, and pressing process," with different processes suited to different product types and performance requirements. Based on 28 years of technical accumulation, Qinglong Group has formed a flexible production system centered on "robotic spraying" alongside multiple coexisting processes. The spraying process offers good fiber orientation and high strength, making it suitable for load-bearing components; the premixing process suits thin-walled components with complex shapes; the mesh-laying process is used for large-format flat panels. In the Wuhan Hanxiu Theater project, we flexibly selected process combinations based on the different characteristics of nearly 10,000 special-shaped panels, ensuring both the strength of core load-bearing areas (flexural strength ≥18MPa) and the precise shaping of complex curved surfaces. There is no "best" process—only the most suitable one.
This is the mainstream process for high-end GRC applications. A robot simultaneously sprays chopped fibers and cement slurry onto the mold, with fibers distributed randomly in three-dimensional space, forming an isotropic reinforcement effect. The German spraying robots introduced by Qinglong Group feature high positioning accuracy, with controllable and uniform fiber content and distribution, and a product strength coefficient of variation ≤5%.
Fibers are first premixed with the dry mix, then water is added for mixing and casting. In this method, fibers tend to clump together and strength is usually lower than the spraying process, but it is suitable for producing components with particularly complex shapes and deep carved patterns. By optimizing the mixing process and fiber surface treatment, Qinglong Group has greatly improved the fiber dispersion of the premixing process.
The pressing process increases density through pressure, making it suitable for panel products. The mesh-laying process lays continuous fiber mesh in the mold and then casts mortar, offering good fiber orientation and suiting products that require high unidirectional strength. Qinglong Group makes flexible selections according to product needs, achieving a balance between efficiency and performance.
The production process is the core of GRC technology. Qinglong Group not only masters various mature processes but also continuously pursues process innovation, developing new technologies such as vacuum-assisted molding and low-temperature curing, constantly improving product quality and production efficiency to create greater value for customers.
