Automated production lines are the material foundation for UHPC to achieve high performance and high stability. Their core value lies in elevating material proportioning, production processes, and environmental parameters from the realm of "relying on the experience of veteran workers" to the level of "digital precision control." The fully automated German UHPC production line introduced by Qinglong Group ensures, through automated control across three key stages, the outstanding stability of product performance and minimizes batch-to-batch variation.
First is the precision of batching and mixing. Traditional manual or semi-automatic batching is heavily influenced by human factors; weighing errors can cause fluctuations in water-binder ratio and fiber content, which directly affect strength and durability. The automated production line uses high-precision sensors and pneumatic conveying systems to weigh and feed cement, silica fume, quartz sand, fibers, water, and admixtures with exact accuracy. The central control system ensures that the feeding sequence, mixing speed, and mixing time are completely consistent for every mix, resulting in uniform fiber dispersion and stable slurry flowability. This guarantees that the core mix proportions of every batch—and even every single UHPC panel—are identical, with the coefficient of variation in performance controlled within 5%.
Second is the consistency of forming and densification processes. For panels, automated mechanical material distribution and high-frequency vibration tables ensure uniform distribution of the slurry within the mold, avoiding the segregation or uneven fiber distribution that manual placing may cause. For shaped components, robotic spray forming can precisely control spraying pressure, angle, and path, allowing fibers to align in three-dimensional space and greatly enhancing the isotropic performance of the components. Densification processes such as pre-pressing or vacuum dewatering are also program-controlled, eliminating the arbitrariness of manual operation.
Finally is the constancy of the curing process. The strength development and microstructure of UHPC are extremely sensitive to curing temperature, humidity, and time. The automated intelligent curing kiln monitors temperature and humidity in real time through sensors distributed across all zones, while the control system dynamically adjusts steam valves and exhaust fans to ensure that the temperature and humidity curves at every point in the kiln—and across every curing cycle—closely match the preset ideal curves. This prevents substandard strength or internal stress cracking caused by uneven curing. Qinglong Group's production data show that the automated production line reduced the standard deviation of 28-day compressive strength by 60%, fundamentally eliminating quality risks caused by production fluctuations and providing a solid guarantee for the large-volume, high-performance, homogeneous UHPC supply required by major projects.
