UHPC curtain wall wind load resistance design requires comprehensive consideration of wind pressure calculation, panel strength, and connection systems. Based on wind tunnel tests and actual project data, Qinglong Group has summarized a systematic approach covering load calculation, panel thickness design, and connection reinforcement.
Accurate wind load calculation is the foundation. The shape coefficient is obtained through wind tunnel tests, and design values are calculated by combining it with the local basic wind pressure. In Qinglong Group's coastal area projects, the wind pressure is taken at no less than 1.0 kN/㎡, with a 20% increase for critical areas. Dynamic wind vibration effects require special consideration to avoid resonance failure.
Panel thickness is determined according to wind pressure. In general wind pressure areas, panel thickness is 15-18mm, increasing to 20-25mm in typhoon zones. Ribs are rationally arranged to improve bending stiffness. Through optimized design, safety is ensured while controlling material usage.
The connection system ensures overall integrity. Anchor point spacing is adjusted according to wind pressure, reduced to 600mm in typhoon zones. Connectors are designed for fatigue resistance and have undergone 2 million cycle tests. These measures ensure the curtain wall's safety under extreme wind conditions.
