The production of UHPC exterior wall decorative lines is a combination of art and technology, requiring five major processes: model design, mold making, batching and casting, curing treatment, and surface finishing. In projects such as Shanghai Century Plaza, Qinglong Group has integrated traditional craftsmanship with digital technology to achieve precise reproduction of complex shapes.
Digital model design is the starting point. Design data is obtained through 3D scanning, and BIM models are used for structural optimization. Qinglong Group adopts parametric design to automatically generate reinforcement rib layouts, ensuring the stability of lines during transportation and installation. In the Nanjing East Road renovation project, stress simulation was used to optimize the thickness of lines with cantilever lengths exceeding 2m to 25mm, reducing weight by 30%.
Mold making determines shape precision. CNC-machined gypsum or GRP molds keep profile errors within ±0.5mm. For complex reliefs, 3D printed rapid prototypes are adopted. Qinglong Group's molds have a service life of over 200 uses, and mold costs are reduced through standardized modular design. Water-based release agents are selected to ensure a clean, smooth surface.
The production process is precisely controlled. Robotic spraying ensures uniform fiber distribution, and vibration tables at 50-60Hz eliminate air bubbles. Steam curing regime: 2-hour temperature rise to 60°C, 24 hours at constant temperature, and 3-hour cooling. After curing, manual fine finishing is performed, with progressive sanding up to 600 grit. Surface treatment adopts fluorocarbon spraying with a dry film thickness ≥30μm. Through full-process control, Qinglong UHPC lines achieve a perfect unity of art and engineering.
