The load-bearing pack is a key reinforcing component in GRC elements, improving load-bearing capacity and crack resistance through local strengthening. Based on 28 years of practice, Qinglong Group considers that the main functions of load-bearing packs include three aspects: stress diffusion, crack control, and connection enhancement, requiring scientific design according to the load-bearing characteristics of the elements.
Stress diffusion is the core function. The load-bearing pack transfers concentrated loads evenly to the panel body, reducing stress concentration. Qinglong Group optimizes the pack dimensions through finite element analysis, typically 1.5-2 times the load-acting area. The thickness is 20%-30% greater than that of the panel body, with fiber reinforcement (glass fiber volume content of 4%-5%) to improve local toughness. With load-bearing packs at the roots of cantilever slabs, moment capacity is increased by more than 30%.
Crack control improves durability. The load-bearing pack restrains crack propagation, dispersing wide cracks into micro-cracks. Qinglong Group incorporates polypropylene fibers (0.1%) into load-bearing packs to further improve crack resistance. Through proper configuration, element crack widths are controlled within 0.1mm, meeting serviceability requirements.
Connection enhancement improves safety. Load-bearing packs are installed at hanging points, lifting points, and other locations to ensure reliable connections. Qinglong Group uses steel-framed composite load-bearing packs, increasing pull-out force by 50%. Through scientific design, the load-bearing pack works in coordination with the panel body, significantly enhancing overall performance.
