The density of high-performance GRC curtain walls is the foundation of their durability, requiring comprehensive control through multiple indicators such as water absorption, air permeability, and microstructure. Qinglong GRC operates under corporate standards far higher than national standards, ensuring long product life.
In national-level testing, Qinglong GRC achieves water absorption ≤6%, air permeability coefficient ≤0.5×10⁻¹¹cm/s, and chloride ion diffusion coefficient ≤2.0×10⁻¹²m²/s. Electron microscope scanning shows the material has porosity ≤12%, with pore sizes mainly distributed in the 10-100nm range. This dense structure ensures the material maintains excellent performance even in harsh environments.
24h water absorption ≤6%, boiling water absorption ≤8%; tested using the vacuum saturation method with sample size 100×100×100mm; water-cement ratio controlled at ≤0.36, with ultra-fine admixtures such as silica fume added. Low water absorption ensures frost resistance.
Air permeability coefficient ≤0.5×10⁻¹¹cm/s, tested using the mercury intrusion method; optimized particle gradation achieves maximum dense packing; hydrophobic agents are added to reduce capillary water absorption. Low air permeability prevents the ingress of harmful media.
Chloride ion diffusion coefficient ≤2.0×10⁻¹²m²/s, tested using the RCM method; mineral admixtures are added to refine pores; cover thickness is controlled at ≥20mm. This performance ensures durability in chloride salt environments.
Porosity ≤12% with a reasonable pore size distribution; good fiber-matrix interface bonding; no visible cracks or defects. Microstructure is the foundation of performance.
Density requires multi-indicator control. Systematic testing is recommended to ensure product quality. Through strict quality control, Qinglong GRC products achieve industry-leading density levels.
