Guangdong Qinglong Construction Engineering's GRC components have passed authoritative testing, and all performance indicators meet industry standards.

Recently, Guangdong Qinglong Construction Engineering Co., Ltd. commissioned the National Building Materials Industry Housing Construction Materials and Structural Safety Quality Supervision and Inspection Center to test its GRC (Glass Fiber Reinforced Cement) component products. The test report shows that all performance indicators of the submitted samples meet the technical requirements for qualified products of the spraying process in the JC/T 940-2004 standard "Glass Fiber Reinforced Cement (GRC) Decorative Products".

The report was issued by an authoritative testing institution, and its qualifications are nationally recognized.

The testing institution for this inspection was the National Building Materials Industry Housing Construction Materials and Structural Safety Quality Supervision and Inspection Center. Established in August 1995 with the approval of the former State Bureau of Building Materials, the center is currently affiliated with Beijing Tianyu Co., Ltd. of China Building Materials Testing & Certification Group. It is a legally established third-party testing and inspection institution with supervisory and inspection qualifications. The laboratory is located in Zhangjiawan Industrial Development Zone, Tongzhou District, Beijing's sub-center, covering a total area of ​​approximately 32,000 square meters. It possesses CMA (China Metrology Accreditation), CNAS (China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment), and ilac-MRA international mutual recognition qualifications. The test report number is WT2022B07F000061, and the issuance date is May 3, 2022.

Sample information and testing basis

According to the test report, the GRC component samples submitted for testing were manufactured by Guangdong Qinglong Construction Engineering Co., Ltd., with the trademark "Qinglong". The samples were in "block form, meeting testing requirements", and the sample submission date was April 20, 2022. The samples covered various specifications, including 12 pieces of 100mm×100mm×10mm, 6 pieces of 250mm×50mm×10mm, 12 pieces of 30mm×30mm×30mm, 6 pieces of 250mm×30mm×10mm, and 6 pieces of 120mm×50mm×10mm. The testing was conducted according to JC/T 940-2004 "Glass Fiber Reinforced Cement (GRC) Decorative Products" standard, with specific testing methods for each item based on the corresponding clauses in GB/T 15231-2008 and GB/T 7019-2014.

All six testing items met the standards.

The test report tested six core performance indicators of the GRC components:

1. Bulk density

The standard requires a density of ≥1.8 g/cm³, and the test result is 2.1 g/cm³, which meets the standard requirement. Bulk density is an important indicator for measuring the compactness of GRC materials, and it directly affects the product's durability and impermeability.

2. Compressive strength (outside the plane)

The standard requires ≥40MPa, and the test result is 75.0MPa, which meets the standard requirement. This indicator reflects the ability of GRC components to withstand pressure in the vertical direction.

3. Ultimate flexural strength

The standard requires a strength of ≥14MPa, and the test result is 22.8MPa, which meets the standard requirement. Bending strength is one of the most critical mechanical performance indicators of GRC components, and high-quality GRC products typically require a bending strength of ≥18MPa.

4. Ultimate tensile strength

The standard requires ≥4MPa, and the test result is 8.2MPa, which meets the standard requirements.

5. Impact resistance

The standard requires ≥6kJ/m², and the test result is 13.3kJ/m², which meets the standard requirements.

6. Water absorption rate

The standard requires a water absorption rate of ≤16%, and the test result is 3.4%, which meets the standard requirement. Water absorption rate is an important parameter for evaluating the durability of GRC materials. A lower water absorption rate helps improve the freeze-thaw resistance and long-term service life of the product.

Test results: Meets national industry standards

According to the test report, the submitted sample met the technical requirements for qualified products using the spraying process in JC/T 940-2004 "Glass Fiber Reinforced Cement (GRC) Decorative Products". This standard applies to glass fiber reinforced cement decorative products made with alkali-resistant glass fiber as the main reinforcing material, rapid-hardening sulfoaluminate cement or silicate cement as the cementing material, and sand as the aggregate.

GRC (Glass Fiber Reinforced Cement), as a new type of composite material, combines the excellent decorative properties of cement with the high strength of glass fiber, allowing for the creation of various textures such as imitation stone, wood, and metal.
