The material selection of embedded parts for UHPC component installation directly affects the long-term safety and reliability of the entire curtain wall system. The core requirements are "a service life matching the UHPC substrate, together with sufficient strength and corrosion resistance." In selecting embedded parts, Qinglong Group strictly follows the principles of "matching material grades, thorough anti-corrosion treatment, and structural calculation verification" to ensure the absolute reliability of connection joints.
Stainless steel is the preferred material for embedded parts. Depending on the environment where the components are located, Qinglong typically recommends austenitic 304 or 316 stainless steel. For most urban environments, 304 stainless steel (grade 06Cr19Ni10) can meet corrosion resistance requirements; for coastal areas, high-humidity industrial zones, or de-icing salt environments, 316 stainless steel (grade 06Cr17Ni12Mo2) with superior corrosion resistance must be used instead. The dense oxide film formed by its high chromium and nickel content effectively resists corrosion, ensuring that no severe rusting occurs within the design service life of UHPC (usually over 50 years). Material certification documents for embedded parts are mandatory items during site acceptance.
The structural form and anchoring performance of embedded parts are of vital importance. In addition to the material, the structural form of the embedded parts (such as claw-type or plate-type) as well as the diameter, length, and hook form of the anchor bars must all undergo rigorous calculation to ensure that the anchoring force exceeds the loads transmitted from the connectors. Qinglong uses BIM technology to precisely position embedded parts and employs dedicated fixtures to secure them during production, preventing displacement. For projects with special anti-corrosion requirements, stainless steel embedded parts also undergo passivation treatment to further enhance the integrity and stability of the surface oxide film. Eliminating the use of ordinary carbon steel embedded parts is the fundamental baseline for preventing UHPC panel cracking caused by rust-induced expansion of embedded parts.
