Hoisting super-large GRC architectural features is a high-risk, highly technical systematic engineering undertaking. Its plan formulation requires comprehensive evaluation of four major categories of factors—component characteristics, site conditions, hoisting equipment, and safety measures—following the principles of "safety first, plan optimization, and meticulous organization." When Qinglong Group undertakes super-large GRC projects with individual pieces exceeding 30 square meters in area and 3 tons in weight, it forms a dedicated task force, develops a detailed specialized hoisting plan, and organizes expert review to ensure foolproof execution.
The core of the hoisting plan lies in an accurate grasp of the component's own characteristics. The weight and center of gravity of the component must be precisely calculated, and reasonable lifting points determined. Lifting points must be reliably connected to the embedded parts or reinforcing steel structures within the component and verified through structural calculations. For irregularly shaped components, potential deflection and swinging in the air must be predicted through calculation or simulation. At the same time, the component's stiffness must be assessed to determine whether it will undergo excessive deformation or cracking under its own weight during hoisting; if necessary, a dedicated hoisting steel frame should be designed for reinforcement.
Site conditions and hoisting equipment selection are key to success. A detailed site survey is essential: whether the ground is level and solid enough to support large crane operations; whether there are obstacles such as high-voltage power lines overhead; and whether the building's hoisting openings are large enough for the component to pass through. Based on the component's weight, dimensions, lifting height, and swing radius, select a truck crane or tower crane with suitable tonnage and sufficient boom length. For overweight or oversized components, special techniques such as tandem lifting with two cranes may be required, in which case the coordinated movements of the two cranes must be precisely calculated. Qinglong maintains long-term partnerships with professional hoisting crews and can flexibly allocate resources according to project characteristics.
Thorough safety contingency plans and meticulous organizational management are the safeguards. Before hoisting, a safety and technical briefing must be conducted to clarify command signals and respective responsibilities. A hoisting exclusion zone must be set up, with unauthorized personnel strictly prohibited from entering. Rigging equipment should be safety-inspected, with an adequate safety factor guaranteed (usually no less than 6). Weather conditions should be closely monitored; when wind force exceeds level 5, high-altitude hoisting operations must be halted. The hoisting process should be steady and slow, with guy ropes attached to the lower end of the component and manually assisted control of its aerial posture to prevent rotation and collision. During positioning, guided by installation personnel, the component is slowly aligned with the embedded parts, and the hook is released only after temporary fixing is completed. Every successful hoisting of a super-large component is the combined result of thorough planning and strict execution.
