Undercut Anchoring Is the Core Technology of Curtain Wall Fixing

An undercut anchor is installed by drilling a hole in the back of the GRC panel, where an expansion mechanism forms an internal thread inside the panel, thereby achieving the connection with the clamp. The undercut anchors used by Qinglong offer seismic and fatigue resistance, with a single anchor providing a pull-out capacity of over 10kN. We strictly follow the JGJ 133 standard for anchor design and verification calculations, ensuring safety even in typhoon-prone regions. Strict regulations apply to anchor depth and edge distance: the anchoring depth is typically no less than 15mm, and the distance from the panel edge is no less than 50mm.

Clamp Systems Enable Precise Positioning and Adjustment

The clamp system includes panel-side clamps connected to the undercut anchors and structure-side clamps connected to the framing. Qinglong uses three-dimensionally adjustable clamps that allow ±20mm adjustment in the X, Y, and Z directions to absorb structural construction tolerances. All clamps are made of stainless steel, and spring washers are fitted at critical connection points to prevent loosening. Fall-Prevention Design Provides Double Insurance

In addition to the main load-bearing clamps, Qinglong also installs fall-prevention features on each GRC panel, such as anti-detachment clips or safety chains. This design ensures that even if the primary clamps fail, the panels will not fall, providing double insurance for safety. Meanwhile, we conduct regular follow-up inspections on completed projects to ensure the fixing system remains effective over the long term.

Differentiated Fixing Strategies for Different Locations

For protruding components such as cornices and string courses, embedded steel plates welded to the structure are used for fixing; for interior GRG ceilings, a light steel framing suspension system is used; for floor paving, a combination of adhesive bonding and mechanical fixing is used.
