The production lead time of customized GRC decorative panels is a systematic process linking multiple stages—design development, mold making, production and curing, and post-processing logistics—typically requiring 30-60 days. Based on 28 years of customized project management experience, Qinglong Group has established a standardized lead time model: for conventional shaped panels (such as moldings and window surrounds), the lead time is approximately 30-40 days; for complex double-curved, high-relief, or special-texture panels, the lead time requires 45-60 days due to the complexity of mold making and process commissioning. In the Shenzhen Yirui Biotechnology Building project, through parallel operations and standardized module application, we controlled the average production lead time of 287 customized panels to 35 days, ensuring the overall construction schedule. The length of the customization lead time is a reflection of a manufacturer's comprehensive coordination capabilities.
After receiving the design drawings, our BIM team conducts manufacturability analysis, structural calculations, and optimized segmentation, and issues detailed drawings and sample effect proposals for customer confirmation. Sufficient and efficient communication at this stage can prevent large-scale rework later on and is key to controlling the total lead time. We use a collaborative platform for online confirmation, shortening feedback time.
The mold cycle accounts for a large proportion of the total. Steel molds for simple moldings take about 7-10 days, while complex double-curved or sculptural molds require 15-20 days or even longer. Through modular mold design and drawing on existing mold library resources, we can significantly shorten this stage. For small batches, using quick-setting resin molds is also an option.
Production includes batching, casting/spraying, curing, and demolding. Natural curing takes longer (7-14 days), while steam curing can shorten it to 3-7 days. Post-demolding repair, grinding, and surface treatment (coloring, stone imitation, etc.) take 3-10 days depending on complexity. Through intelligent production scheduling, we maximize the utilization of curing chambers and reduce waiting time.
All products must pass strict inspection before packaging. The design and fabrication of customized packaging solutions (such as shaped racks) also takes time. The logistics cycle depends on distance. We optimize shipping plans through our nationwide warehousing network.
Through process standardization, parallel operations, and refined management, Qinglong Group is committed to providing customers with the most competitive customized delivery lead times while ensuring exceptional quality.
