The material basis for UHPC double-curved wall panels to achieve complex geometries stems from three key characteristics: "high rheological fluidity, high cohesion, and high thixotropy", specifically realized through a low water-binder ratio (0.18–0.22) paste, high-range water reducer (water reduction rate ≥30%), and a three-dimensional fiber distribution system. In the translucent double-curved panel project at Shanghai Century Plaza, Qinglong Group precisely controlled the paste yield stress (50–100Pa) and viscosity coefficient (20–40Pa·s) using a rheometer, enabling UHPC to flow and fill uniformly within the mold and achieve complex geometries with a curvature radius of R=200mm and torsional deformation ≥15°, with shape fidelity ≥95%. Material plasticity is the physical foundation of artistic creation and must be optimized in coordination with mold technology and curing processes.
The paste must have appropriate flowability (spread ≥600mm) and segregation resistance. Qinglong Group achieves sag-free application on vertical surfaces through viscosity modifiers. Scientific proportioning ensures the realization of complex geometries.
Robotic directional spraying distributes fibers along the normal direction of the curved surface. We have developed fiber orientation control technology, increasing flexural strength by 20%. Structural reinforcement ensures the safety of the formed shapes.
Composite geometries combining double curvature, openwork, and translucency have been achieved in multiple landmark projects. Parametric design + precision manufacturing expand design boundaries. Material innovation drives the development of architectural art.
