The combined application of UHPC curtain walls and glass curtain walls must focus on solving three key technical challenges: "deformation compatibility, thermal performance, and visual transition." The core is ensuring that different materials work together under temperature changes and wind loads. In the "Red Lantern" design of the Wuhan Han Show Theater, Qinglong Group successfully achieved seamless connection between 9,000 square meters of UHPC panels and glass curtain walls by installing flexible transition strips (width ≥50mm), adopting a pressure-equalized cavity design (cavity thickness ≥20mm), and unifying panel grid modules (module ≤1.2m), with joint width tolerances controlled within ±1.5mm. System integration requires comprehensive consideration of structural, physical, and aesthetic needs, achieving a 1+1>2 effect through refined design.
The linear expansion coefficient of UHPC is 1.0×10⁻⁵/°C and that of glass is 0.8×10⁻⁵/°C, so the deformation difference caused by temperature variation must be calculated. Expansion joints should be installed to absorb differential deformation, with joint width ≥15mm. Qinglong Group optimized connection point layout through finite element analysis to avoid stress concentration.
The K-value of UHPC panels should be ≤1.5W/m²·K and must be matched with insulating glass (K-value ≤1.8). Pressure-equalized cavity design prevents condensation, with condensate drainage holes spaced ≤1m apart. Scientific design improves overall building energy efficiency.
Color coordination (ΔE≤3.0), panel grid alignment (error ≤2mm), and refined detail finishing. Qinglong Group uses BIM technology to preview the effects, ensuring a perfect presentation.
