The fixing method after GRC installation is a core element in ensuring curtain wall safety. Based on 28 years of engineering practice, Qinglong Group has developed a variety of connection systems, including under cut anchor, hook-on, and embedded part welding systems, each of which has undergone rigorous mechanical calculation and experimental verification. In Luban Award projects such as the Shenzhen Pingshan High-tech Zone Comprehensive Service Center, our connection systems withstood severe typhoons, demonstrating their outstanding reliability.
Undercut anchor connections are the first choice for large panels. They use stainless steel undercut anchors (Grade A4-80) with an anchoring depth of ≥15mm and a pull-out resistance of ≥5kN per anchor. In the Wuhan Han Show Theatre project, Qinglong Group conducted on-site pull-out tests on every anchor to ensure the anchoring force reached 1.5 times the design value. Hook-on systems are suitable for conventional panels, achieving three-dimensional adjustment through aluminum alloy hangers, with an adjustment range of up to ±20mm.
Special areas require special fixing solutions. For corner areas, we use reinforced steel frames rigidly connected to the main structure. In the wave-shaped roof project of the Hainan International Convention and Exhibition Center, we developed custom connectors to achieve precise fixing of curved panels. All connectors are hot-dip galvanized, providing corrosion protection for more than 25 years.
Quality control is the guarantee of fixing safety. Qinglong Group requires torque testing at every connection point, keeping bolt tightening torque deviations within ±5%. After installation, an endoscope is used to spot-check anchoring depth to ensure fixing reliability. Through this rigorous quality control system, we provide lifetime safety assurance for every project.
