UHPC's impermeability directly relates to its durability. High-quality products can control water absorption below 3%, with a chloride ion diffusion coefficient ≤2.0×10⁻¹²m²/s. Through optimized particle gradation, incorporation of ultra-fine mineral admixtures, and vacuum dewatering technology, Qinglong Group reduces the most probable pore diameter to below 50nm, achieving a nearly impermeable dense structure. Impermeability must be systematically ensured through mix design, production processes, and curing regimes.
Mix design is the foundation of impermeability. The water-binder ratio is strictly controlled at 0.20-0.22, with silica fume (specific surface area ≥15000m²/kg) added to fill micropores. Aggregates use continuous gradation (maximum particle size ≤1mm), with packing density reaching 2.4-2.6g/cm³. Through Fuller curve optimization, Qinglong Group reduces porosity to below 4%, significantly improving the impermeability grade.
Production processes enhance compactness. Robotic spraying ensures uniform fiber distribution and avoids localized defects. Vacuum dewatering (vacuum degree -0.08MPa) expels large air bubbles and reduces interconnected capillary pores. During the curing stage, humidity is controlled at ≥95%, promoting continued reaction of unhydrated cement to further seal the pores.
Impermeability must be verified through standard testing. Qinglong Group products show no penetration in impermeability tests (water pressure 1.2MPa sustained for 8h), and their chloride ion migration coefficient testing meets the industry's highest standard. Owners may request test reports from manufacturers or conduct on-site water permeability tests to directly verify impermeability performance.
