How Does Outdoor UHPC Panel Resist UV Aging? — Weather Resistance Evaluation and Protection

Outdoor UHPC panels offer excellent UV aging resistance. After 3,000 hours of accelerated aging tests, the strength retention rate is ≥90% and the color difference ΔE≤3.0. Through material modification and surface treatment, Qinglong Group has enabled UH panels to achieve a service life of over 50 years in outdoor environments.

The material itself is UV resistant. The cement matrix is inorganic and does not decompose. UV absorbers (benzotriazole-based) are incorporated, achieving a blocking rate of over 95%. Qinglong Group verified in its Hainan project that performance showed no significant change after 5 years of use. Surface coatings enhance protection, with fluorocarbon coating thickness ≥30μm, providing additional protection.

Regular maintenance preserves performance. Inspection is recommended every 5 years, with reapplication of protective agent when necessary. Through systematic protection, UHPC panels can maintain their aesthetics and functionality over the long term.
