Which Technical Parameters Should Be Specified When Signing a GRC Supply Contract?

When signing a GRC supply contract, the clarity of technical parameters is key to ensuring project quality. Qinglong Group recommends including at least four categories of technical parameters: material performance, dimensional tolerances, acceptance criteria, and special requirements, each requiring quantified indicators.

Material performance parameters should be specific. In addition to conventional compressive strength (≥40MPa) and flexural strength (≥15MPa), durability indicators must be specified, such as the number of freeze-thaw cycles (≥300) and the chloride ion diffusion coefficient (≤2.0×10⁻¹²m²/s). Qinglong Group also specifies special requirements in the contract, such as elastic modulus (≥30GPa) and fire resistance rating.

Dimensional tolerance standards should be set by grade. Flatness deviation of flat panels should be ≤3mm/2m, while curved components are controlled by grade according to the radius of curvature. In the Algeria hotel project, we set the hole position deviation of perforated panels at ±1.5mm to ensure installation accuracy. At the same time, the color difference range should be specified, usually ΔE≤2.0.

Acceptance criteria must be operable. Qinglong Group adopts a witnessed sampling system, specifying testing frequency and methods. For example, one set of specimens is taken per 1000㎡ and tested according to GB/T standards. On-site acceptance includes the tapping method to check for hollow spots, and water seepage tests to verify impermeability.

Special requirements need to be agreed in detail. If a stone-like effect is required, samples should be attached for confirmation; if light transmission is required, specify the light transmittance and light-guiding scheme. Complete technical parameters are the legal guarantee for project success.
