What tools are needed for GRC installation?

The installation quality of GRC (Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete) directly affects a building's appearance and safety, and professional tools are the core of ensuring precise and efficient installation. Small moldings or reliefs can be handled with manual hoists or vacuum suction cups, while large panels (such as the 6m×3m GRC panels of the Hainan Poly Peninsula No.1 project) require a crawler crane with flexible slings. Meanwhile, handling tools such as forklifts and manual hydraulic trolleys are indispensable, especially on cramped sites, where lightweight aluminum alloy scaffolding can improve flexibility.

Connection and fixing tools include electric drills, torque wrenches, and sealant injection equipment. GRC panels are usually connected to the main structure through embedded parts, requiring impact drills to drill anchor holes and torque wrenches to ensure that bolts reach the specified tightening force. In the Guangzhou Zengcheng Qiangwei Garden project, Qinglong adopted a stainless steel bracket system combined with weather-resistant sealant application to effectively cope with thermal expansion and contraction. In addition, safety tools such as fall-protection nets and safety ropes are essential for work at height.
