The demolding time of GRC components is determined by strength development, with the optimal demolding strength being 15-20MPa. At a normal ambient temperature of 20℃, ordinary components require 18-24 hours of curing, extended to 36-48 hours in winter. Insufficient demolding strength (below 10MPa) leads to chipped edges and corners, while over-curing (above 24MPa) increases demolding difficulty.
Experimental data show that when the demolding strength is 15MPa, the edge and corner integrity of components reaches 98%; at 10MPa, the damage rate rises to 12%. One art component, demolded prematurely (strength of only 8MPa), suffered a 30% damage rate in relief details, with rework losses exceeding RMB 50,000. In contrast, projects that strictly control demolding strength according to Qinglong GRC standards achieve a component yield rate of 99.5%.
Same-condition cured test block strength ≥15MPa; rebound hammer test mean ≥15MPa; these methods determine the timing.
For every 5℃ drop in temperature, the demolding time is extended by 1/3; these corrections adapt to the environment.
Flat panel components can be demolded at 15MPa; complex components require ≥18MPa; these differences should be handled differently.
Remove the side molds first, then the bottom mold; use dedicated release agents; these standards prevent damage.
Demolding timing requires scientific judgment. Control under Qinglong GRC standards ensures component integrity.
