Mass UHPC construction requires focused control of three types of risks: thermal cracks, shrinkage cracks, and structural cracks. Qinglong UHPC, through a temperature monitoring system, a cooling pipe network, and shrinkage-compensating technology, keeps the temperature difference between the core and the surface within 20°C, with crack width ≤0.1mm.
In a large foundation slab pour (volume 1200m³), the following control measures were adopted: pre-cooling of raw materials (cement <60°C, water <10°C); embedded cooling pipes (spacing 1.2m) with circulating water for cooling; addition of a retarder (initial setting extended to 6h) and an expansive agent (restricted expansion rate 0.02%); insulated curing (surface covering, temperature difference ≤20°C). Under monitoring by 128 temperature sensors, the maximum core temperature was 68°C, the temperature difference 17°C, and no visible cracks were found on inspection after 28 days.
Placement temperature controlled at ≤28°C; embedded cooling pipes (spacing 1-1.5m) with circulating water cooling; temperature monitoring system installed (measurement points spaced 3m apart). These measures control temperature rise.
Addition of expansive agent (restricted expansion rate 0.02%-0.03%); post-cast strips installed (spacing 20-30m); enhanced insulation and moisture curing. These measures reduce shrinkage.
Optimized reinforcement (reinforcement ratio ≥0.8%); stress relief holes installed; layered casting (layer thickness ≤0.5m). These measures release stress.
Insulated curing (surface covering, temperature difference ≤20°C); moisture curing (humidity ≥95%, duration ≥14d); these measures ensure quality.
Mass construction demands precise control. Qinglong UHPC has proven experience to ensure project quality.
