How Long Is the Service Life of GRC? An Empirical Study on the Durability of Qinglong GRC

Based on this aging rate, the remaining service life still exceeds 35 years. In a coastal project in Hainan, after 10 years of exposure to the marine environment, the chloride ion penetration depth was only 1.2mm, with an expected service life of up to 40 years. These empirical data provide a scientific basis for the long-term performance of GRC. More importantly, with regular maintenance and protective treatment, the service life can be extended by more than 30%.
