During the material preparation stage, the raw material temperature must be controlled at 20±2℃; temperatures that are too high or too low will affect workability. Before mixing, the aggregate moisture content must be accurately measured and the water amount adjusted accordingly. In a major project in Wuhan, neglecting changes in aggregate moisture content caused one batch of UHPC to fail workability standards, resulting in a direct scrapping loss of 200,000 yuan. During pouring, the placing speed must be controlled at 0.5–1.0 m/h, with layer thickness not exceeding 300 mm. Especially during the curing stage, formwork removal time must be determined according to strength development; removing formwork too early will cause surface damage.

Temperature Control Requirements

Raw material temperature, ambient temperature, and mold temperature all need to be monitored. Summer construction requires cooling measures, while winter requires insulated curing. Excessive temperature deviation can easily lead to quality problems.

Time Control Precision

Mixing time, transport time, and pouring time all need to be precisely controlled. From mixing to the completion of pouring must be within 90 minutes; exceeding this time requires scrapping.

Process Discipline Enforcement

Feed materials strictly according to the mix ratio and operate according to the process. Each procedure must be checked and confirmed upon completion before proceeding to the next. This discipline is the guarantee of quality.

On-site Monitoring Requirements

Prepare test specimens at the prescribed frequency to monitor strength development. Monitor slump changes during pouring. Monitor temperature changes during the curing period.
