The water-binder ratio error must be controlled within ±0.2%, and mixing time must be accurate to the second. Specialized equipment must be used during pouring, with vibration time controlled at 20-30 seconds; excessive vibration causes fibers to sink. Curing is even more critical, requiring the heating and cooling rate to be kept within 15℃/h and the relative humidity at ≥95%.

Precision Requirements for Mix Proportion Control

UHPC imposes extremely high requirements on raw material metering accuracy: the weighing error of cementitious materials such as cement and silica fume must be ≤0.5%, and that of water reducers ≤0.1%. Such precision requires specialized equipment.

Unique Mixing Process

A forced-action mixer is used, with a mixing time 50% longer than that of ordinary concrete. The feeding sequence is strictly specified: fibers must be added in stages to ensure uniform dispersion.

Professional Pouring Operations

Pumping must be used for pouring to avoid segregation. Vibration time is strictly controlled, as excessive vibration affects fiber distribution. The construction temperature must be between 5-35℃.

Strict Curing Regime

Steam curing is adopted, with a heating rate ≤15℃/h and constant-temperature curing lasting 24-48 hours. The cooling rate is ≤20℃/h to prevent thermal cracking.
