Full-Chain Breakthrough for Cross-Border GRC Projects: Qinglong's Solution from Logistics Challenges to Installation Precision

Amid the global wave of architectural decoration, GRC (Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete), as a new material combining artistic expressiveness with engineering reliability, is becoming the "textural language" of landmark buildings. Yet the logistics coordination and installation of cross-border GRC projects are like dancing ballet on the edge of a knife—ensuring the integrity of materials during international transport while achieving millimeter-level on-site assembly precision. Qinglong Group, with 28 years of full-chain experience in UHPC/GRC/GRG/GRP, has built a proven cross-border project management system through hands-on experience in multiple landmark projects across Southeast Asia.

1. Cross-Border GRC Logistics: Solving the "Triple Spatiotemporal Challenge"

When GRC components set off from the production base in Nanning, Guangxi, international transport enters "time-space traversal" mode. In the podium renovation project of the Malaysia Twin Towers, Qinglong found that traditional logistics solutions often fall into a "trilemma": difficulty in stowing oversized irregular components for sea freight, difficulty in protecting materials under hot and humid conditions, and difficulty in controlling the timeliness of multimodal transport. To address this, Qinglong innovatively adopted a "modular splitting + intelligent packaging" strategy, breaking 12-meter-long double-curved GRC cladding panels into 3-meter standard units, pre-assembling and numbering them via BIM technology, combined with vacuum moisture-proof packaging and RFID chip traceability, reducing the transport damage rate on Southeast Asian projects from the industry average of 8% to 1.2%.

To tackle logistics challenges across different climate zones, Qinglong established a "climate-adaptive transport model." In the Riyadh Airport project in Saudi Arabia, facing 50°C high-temperature conditions, the transport team used constant-temperature containers plus a real-time humidity monitoring system to keep the moisture content of GRC components on arrival stable within the optimal installation range of 6%-8%. This "material passport" style of end-to-end control enabled Qinglong to deliver 4,000 custom components with zero delays in the 2024 Gardens by the Bay expansion project in Singapore.

2. Cross-Border Installation Coordination: Building a "Four-Dimensional Synergy System"

The complexity of cross-border GRC installation far exceeds the domestic project maxim of "30% technology, 70% coordination." In the Hanoi Art Center project in Vietnam, Qinglong creatively proposed a four-dimensional synergy model of "design-production-logistics-installation": through a cloud-based shared BIM collaboration platform, the domestic detailed design team, Southeast Asian construction crews, and third-party supervision agencies are brought into the same working interface, achieving 24-hour relay-style problem response. In this project, to address local workers' unfamiliarity with the installation process of GRC-specific anchors, Qinglong applied "3D scanning positioning + AR virtual guidance" technology, raising installation precision from ±5mm to ±2mm and meeting the European EN13706 standard.

Cultural differences and standards barriers are often invisible obstacles in cross-border installation. As a member of the International GRC Association, Qinglong is well-versed in the differences among national building codes: in the renovation of Perth Town Hall in Australia, the team adjusted the GRC fire performance testing standard from the domestic GB8624 to AS1530.3 in advance and obtained certification from local authoritative institutions; in the Jakarta commercial complex project in Indonesia, Qinglong innovatively adopted a "localized labor + Chinese technical supervision" model, which both complies with local employment policies and ensures quality control over key processes. This flexible strategy of "global standards + local adaptation" has become Qinglong's golden key to opening overseas markets.

3. Full-Chain Empowerment: From Material Supplier to Solutions Partner

With 28 years of industry experience, Qinglong deeply understands that the essence of cross-border GRC projects is "building a chain of trust." As a National High-Tech Enterprise and a participant in setting GRC industry standards, Qinglong not only provides physical UHPC/GRC/GRG/GRP products but also delivers technical empowerment spanning the entire project lifecycle: from material selection recommendations in the early design phase (such as recommending a salt-fog-resistant GRC formula for seaside projects), to digital installation guidance during construction, and a 5-year maintenance commitment afterward, forming a complete value loop.

Driven by the "Belt and Road" initiative, more and more Chinese construction is going global. With the mission of "creating beautiful architecture," Qinglong transforms its 28 years of accumulated experience in detailed design, manufacturing, and construction installation into systematic solutions for cross-border projects. Whether it is the exotic-style decoration of the Malaysia Twin Towers or the restoration of classical architecture in Perth, Australia, Qinglong always maintains an attitude of "meticulousness and striving for excellence," letting GRC materials show their unique charm in a cross-border context. Looking ahead, this industry leader, with 58 patented technologies and an annual production capacity of 600,000 square meters, is steadily advancing toward its vision of "becoming a world-class leading UHPC/GRC/GRG/GRP manufacturing enterprise."
