The production cycle of customized GRC decorative panels is a dynamic process influenced by multiple variables such as "design complexity, mold craftsmanship, batch size, and curing conditions," typically requiring 45 to 90 days. Through management innovations such as "concurrent engineering, modular design, and flexible production," Qinglong Group can consistently control the cycle for standard customization projects at around 60 days while ensuring quality. For example, in the "Dongguan Rush Weaving" complex openwork GRC curtain wall project for the Dongguan Women and Children's Activity Center, it took us only 50 days from design development to the delivery of the first batch of products, safeguarding the project schedule.
Design development and mold fabrication are the key stages that consume early-stage time. After receiving the drawings confirmed by the owner, detailed development design, structural calculations, and mold design are required, a process that takes approximately 7-15 days. The mold fabrication cycle depends on complexity: simple flat-panel molds take about 3-5 days, moderately complex internal and external corner profile molds about 7-10 days, while highly complex double-curved or deep-relief molds may require 15-25 days. Qinglong has advanced CNC machining centers, enabling fast and precise mold fabrication.
Production and curing constitute the core of the cycle. Once the molds are ready, the production process for a single component (batching, spraying, compaction, demolding) can be completed within 1-2 days. However, the key factor determining the cycle length is curing: GRC must go through multiple stages, including in-mold curing, wet curing after demolding (or steam curing), and natural curing, to achieve sufficient factory-release strength (usually required to reach more than 70% of the design strength). Under a standard curing regime, this process takes 14-28 days. Qinglong optimizes curing time while ensuring quality through scientific mix proportion design and temperature and humidity control.
Batch size and surface treatment affect the overall schedule. For large-volume orders, assembly-line operations can be adopted, achieving high average efficiency. For small-volume, multi-variety orders, however, frequent mold changes and production line adjustments extend the average per-unit production cycle accordingly. Special surface treatments (such as stone-effect coloring, acid washing, sandblasting, etc.) also add extra labor hours. Therefore, the production cycle of customized GRC must be comprehensively evaluated based on the specific conditions of each project, and early engagement with an experienced manufacturer is the primary step to ensure the schedule is met.
