Stacking management of GRC components is the key link connecting production and installation, requiring strict implementation of four basic principles: "hardened ground, bearers at equal height, height-limited layering, and classified stacking." Based on 28 years of logistics management experience, Qinglong Group has established standardized stacking yard specifications: the stacking ground must have a load-bearing capacity of ≥10t/m²; timber bearers must be spaced at ≤600mm intervals and kept at the same level (height difference ≤3mm); the number of stacking layers is determined by component thickness (no more than 6 layers for panels ≤12mm thick, no more than 10 layers for 20mm thick panels); isolation passages (width ≥0.8m) are provided between components of different models. In the roofing project of the Hainan International Convention and Exhibition Center, we used a BIM system to generate a digital stacking plan, enabling 28,700 shaped panels to circulate through the 40,000㎡ stacking yard with zero damage and a 40% improvement in hoisting efficiency. Scientific stacking is the invisible project that safeguards product value.
The stacking ground must be hardened with concrete (thickness ≥150mm) with a flatness of ≤5mm/2m. Larch timber (50×50mm cross-section) is selected for the bearers, spaced at 1/5-1/4 of the component length. A ventilation layer (height ≥150mm) is provided at the bottom of each stack to prevent ground moisture erosion. Qinglong Group's stacking yards are equipped with automatic drainage systems to ensure no water accumulation.
The safe number of stacking layers is calculated based on the flexural rigidity of components, with the maximum number of layers usually calculated as (panel thickness mm/2) (e.g., no more than 10 layers for 20mm thick panels). Bearers between layers must be vertically aligned, with a deviation of ≤20mm. Shaped components are fixed with special brackets to prevent overturning. We customize stacking plans for each panel type and attach QR code labels.
Components are stacked in zones according to installation sequence, with "pending inspection", "qualified", and "dispatch" areas designated. The first-in, first-out principle is strictly enforced, with the inventory cycle kept within 15 days. A WMS system is used to monitor inventory status in real time, avoiding long-term accumulation of components. RFID technology is used in large projects to achieve precise positioning.
Openwork panels require additional support frames; soft materials are placed between layers of relief panels; extra-long components (>4m) are fixed with diagonal braces. In the rainy season, rainproof tarpaulins are added for cover; in summer, avoid exposure to direct sunlight. Qinglong Group provides all-weather stacking yards to meet storage needs under various climatic conditions.
Scientific stacking management is an important link in the GRC product value chain. Through standardized and digitalized means, Qinglong Group ensures that components remain undamaged throughout the entire process from factory to installation.
