What Are the Key Steps in the Factory Precasting Stage of UHPC Curtain Wall Panel Production?

The factory prefabrication of UHPC curtain wall panels is a modern industrial process integrating "digital design, precision manufacturing, strict curing, and precise inspection," with key steps covering seven stages: "detailed design, mold fabrication, batching and mixing, casting and forming, curing and demolding, surface treatment, and inspection and packaging." Qinglong Group's Nanning production base adopts Industry 4.0 standards to achieve full-chain intelligent control: BIM-based detailed design (error ±1mm), five-axis CNC mold machining (precision ±0.1mm), fully automatic batching and mixing (precision ±0.5%), robotic spray forming (fiber uniformity ≥95%), intelligent curing kiln clusters (temperature control ±2℃), robotic grinding and polishing, and full 3D scanning inspection. In the production of 120,000 square meters of roof panels for the Hainan International Convention and Exhibition Center, this process ensured a daily output of 3,000㎡, a strength variation coefficient ≤5%, and a panel thickness tolerance of ±1mm. Factory prefabrication is the guarantee of UHPC quality consistency.

Detailed Design and Mold Fabrication Are the Starting Point of Quality

Rhino+Grasshopper parametric design is used to optimize panel segmentation and reduce mold varieties. Molds are made of steel or resin, with CNC machining ensuring smooth profile surfaces. In the Wuhan Han Show Theater project, none of the 2,872 special-shaped panel molds were identical, and all were under full digital management.

Batching, Mixing and Forming Are the Core Processes

Batching is fully automatically weighed, with the water-binder ratio controlled at 0.20±0.02. Mixing adopts a three-stage "dry mixing - wet mixing - fiber mixing" process, with vacuum degassing (vacuum degree -0.08MPa) to reduce air bubbles. Robotic spraying ensures three-dimensional uniform fiber distribution.

Curing and Surface Treatment Determine Final Performance

Steam curing (80℃×24h) promotes strength development, with 1-day strength reaching 50MPa. After demolding, surface treatment (polishing, sandblasting, coloring) is carried out manually or by robots to achieve the designed texture. We have a library of 10 surface treatment processes.

Inspection and Packaging Are the Final Checkpoint Before Shipping

Each panel undergoes inspection for dimensions, flatness, strength, and appearance. Laser scanning is adopted, with data entered into the MES system. Custom packaging (corner protectors, steel frames) ensures zero transport damage. The pass rate has consistently remained above 99%.
