How to Prevent Edge and Corner Damage During UHPC Component Transport: Logistics Protection and Qinglong Group Packaging Standards

Protecting UHPC components from edge and corner damage during transportation requires a three-dimensional safeguard system of "customized packaging, scientific loading, and route optimization," with the core focus on reducing the risks of "collision, vibration, and overturning." Based on 28 years of logistics experience, Qinglong Group has established packaging standards: dedicated corner protectors (EVA foam, thickness ≥30mm) fitted on component edges; full panels fixed vertically with steel frames (inclination angle ≤15°); and vehicles equipped with anti-vibration air cushions (vibration acceleration ≤1.5g). Specialized racks are designed according to component shapes: A-frames for flat panels, and foam mold embedding for shaped panels. Rubber sheets (hardness 60 Shore A) are placed between the corner protectors and components to cushion impacts. Loading Plans Affect Safety Throughout the Journey

Heavy items at the bottom and light items on top, with the center of gravity controlled at the front one-third of the axle. Timber blocks (50mm×50mm cross-section) are placed between each layer of components and secured with nylon straps (tension ≥500kg). Drivers are trained to keep deceleration during emergency braking ≤0.3g.

Information-Based Monitoring and Emergency Handling

Vehicles are equipped with vibration recorders that automatically trigger alarms when limits are exceeded. Qinglong Group's logistics system provides real-time positioning, with escort personnel assigned in remote areas. During the typhoon season of the Hainan project, we switched to inland routes to avoid strong wind zones.
