Durability of UHPC products varies significantly among manufacturers, mainly reflected in three key indicators: "carbonation resistance, freeze-thaw resistance, and chloride ion penetration resistance". High-quality UHPC products should have an annual carbonation depth growth of ≤0.1mm, freeze-thaw cycles ≥F300, and a chloride ion diffusion coefficient ≤2.0×10⁻¹² m²/s. Based on accelerated aging tests and 28 years of project tracking data, Qinglong Group developed a dedicated weather-resistant formula, enabling UHPC panels used for 10 years in Hainan's hot and humid coastal environment to show a carbonation depth of only 0.8mm and a strength retention rate ≥90%. Durability differences mainly stem from raw material quality, mix proportion design, and the level of production process control.
Low-alkali cement (alkali content ≤0.6%) and high-zirconium fibers (ZrO₂≥16%) are used to improve alkali resistance at the source. Qinglong Group optimized the mix proportion through response surface methodology, achieving a chloride ion diffusion coefficient ≤1.5×10⁻¹² m²/s and a 3-fold improvement in impermeability. A scientific formula is the foundation of long-term durability.
Mixing uniformity and curing regime directly affect material density. Qinglong Group uses twin-shaft compulsory mixers (uniformity ≥95%) and intelligent curing kilns (temperature control ±2℃) to ensure a dense internal structure in its products. In the Wuhan Han Show Theatre project, UHPC panels have shown no signs of aging after 8 years of use.
A project tracking database is established to regularly monitor performance changes. Qinglong Group conducts follow-up inspections on projects that have been in use for over 10 years, with the data providing a basis for guiding formula optimization. Durability needs time to prove itself, and quality products stand the test of time.
