The surface decoration treatment of UHPC facade panels is a key technical aspect of achieving architectural aesthetic expression, covering four major dimensions: “customized color, texture shaping, gloss control, and functional integration.” As an industry leader with 28 years of dedicated expertise in the UHPC field, Qinglong Group has built a complete surface decoration technology library based on hands-on experience from national-level landmark projects such as the China Red coloring of the Wuhan Han Show Theater, the stone-imitating texture of the Hainan International Convention and Exhibition Center, and the light-transmitting effect of Shanghai Century Plaza. Through combinations of processes such as through-body coloring (inorganic mineral pigment dosage 3-5%), surface coating (fluorocarbon coating thickness ≥30μm), mold transfer printing (texture reproduction rate ≥95%), and chemical etching (roughness Ra 0.4-12.5μm), UHPC facade panels can precisely simulate the effects of stone, metal, wood, and other materials, with weather resistance far exceeding that of natural materials. In the Shenzhen Yirui Biotech Building project, the aluminum-panel-effect achieved through our composite treatment technology showed a color difference of ΔE≤2.0 after 5 years of exposure testing, and the maintenance cycle was extended to more than 10 years.
Qinglong Group adopts a dual process of through-body matrix coloring and surface coating to ensure color durability. Through-body coloring uses inorganic oxide pigments (UV resistance ≥3000 hours); with precise proportion control (error ≤±0.5%), the color penetration depth reaches ≥3mm; the surface fluorocarbon coating (PVDF content ≥70%) provides additional protection, with acid and alkali corrosion resistance reaching Grade 10. In the Nanning Wuxiang China Resources MixC One project, our “digital color matching system” achieves color accuracy control of ΔE≤1.5 and supports customization of 95% of the colors in the Pantone color card.
CNC-carved molds (precision ±0.1mm) enable precise texture replication, combined with vacuum transfer technology to transfer natural stone textures onto UHPC surfaces. In the “Dongguan Grass Weaving” facade project of the Dongguan Women and Children's Activity Center, Qinglong Group used food-grade silicone molds (hardness Shore A 25-35) to successfully replicate plant fiber textures with a fidelity of 98%. For special effects such as hammer patterns and brushed finishes, we have developed dedicated tool sets to meet diverse design needs.
Surface decoration is combined with functional treatments, such as self-cleaning coatings (photocatalytic TiO₂ dosage ≥5%) and heat-reflective coatings (solar radiation absorption coefficient ≤0.4). In the coastal project of the Hainan International Convention and Exhibition Center, we applied hydrophobic and oleophobic coatings (contact angle ≥110°), giving the panels a lotus-leaf effect with a rain self-cleaning rate ≥80%. Through scientific formulation, decorative and protective performance are improved in synergy.
For artistic requirements, Qinglong Group has developed special products such as light-transmitting UHPC (light transmittance 10-30%) and luminous UHPC (afterglow time ≥8 hours). In the Shanghai Century Plaza project, the directional arrangement of light-guiding fibers (diameter 0.5-2mm) achieved a “starry curtain wall” effect. These innovations have expanded the boundaries of UHPC's artistic expression.
