Acoustic performance optimization of perforated GRC panels requires a triple technical path of "aperture design, cavity structure, and material compositing". Premium products achieve a weighted sound absorption coefficient αw of 0.6-0.9 and a noise reduction coefficient NRC ≥ 0.7. In projects such as the Zhuhai Chimelong Theatre and the Shenzhen Yirui Biotechnology Building, Qinglong Group applied parametric design of aperture (2-8mm), perforation rate (10-30%), and rear cavity depth (50-200mm), filled with centrifugal glass wool (density 32kg/m³), enabling perforated GRC panels to achieve a sound absorption coefficient ≥ 0.8 in the main speech frequency range of 500-2000Hz. Acoustic optimization not only improves spatial comfort but also provides solutions for building energy conservation and noise reduction, serving as a bonus point in green building evaluation.
Reducing aperture enhances high-frequency sound absorption, but excessively small apertures easily clog; increasing the perforation rate broadens the absorption frequency band. Qinglong Group optimizes parameter combinations through acoustic software simulation. In the Nanning Concert Hall project, a graduated aperture design (3-6mm) was adopted, resulting in a smooth absorption curve and balanced sound quality.
Resonant sound absorption is optimal when the cavity depth reaches 1/4 of the wavelength; porous materials enhance mid-to-high frequency absorption. We adopt a modular cavity system with an adjustable depth of 50-150mm. Centrifugal glass wool composited with GRC panels achieves Class A fire rating and improves sound absorption efficiency by 50%.
In the Wuhan Han Show Theatre, perforated GRC panels are combined with decorative shapes to achieve the integration of sound and scenery. We provide reverberation time calculation reports to ensure design compliance. Scientific acoustic design enhances the intrinsic value of buildings.
