Thin Panel Applications and Technical Requirements

Qinglong Group used 10mm thin panels in a commercial complex in Shenzhen, reinforced with carbon fiber mesh, keeping deflection within L/200. Thin panels must be fixed vertically during transport to prevent cracking.

Medium-Thick Panel Performance and Applicable Scenarios

15-20mm medium-thick panels have a bending strength of 12-18MPa and are suitable for curtain walls (wind pressure ≤2.0kPa), sunshades, and similar applications. We optimize panel thickness through finite element analysis; in the Nanning New Media Center project, 18mm panels achieved a 6m span, saving 20% in materials. Hanger point spacing should be ≤800mm during installation.

Thick Panel Specialized Applications and Innovations

Thick panels above 25mm are used in impact-resistant scenarios such as protective walls and flooring, with fiber content increased to 5%.
