The fidelity standard for stone-effect textured GRC decorative panels should be evaluated comprehensively across three dimensions: texture simulation, color stability, and tactile realism. Premium industry products should achieve texture matching ≥90%, color difference ΔE≤3.0, and tactile similarity ≥85%. In the Panzhihua Third-Front Construction Museum project in Sichuan, Qinglong Group used high-precision scanning of original stone textures, optimized mineral aggregate gradation, and multi-layer coloring processes, achieving a ΔE value of only 1.8 in comparative testing between GRC faux sandstone panels and natural stone, with expert blind-test recognition accuracy below 5%. The full-process control system we established—“digital capture–mold transfer–curing”—ensures texture consistency of over 95% for every production batch, providing decorative solutions rivaling natural stone for historic building restoration and high-end commercial spaces.
A 3D scanner (accuracy ±0.1mm) captures the surface topology of natural stone, and five-axis CNC engraving of molds achieves micron-level replication. In the Poly Peninsula No. 1 project in Hainan, the most probable pore size distribution of Qinglong's faux granite panels deviates from natural stone by ≤5%, making them virtually indistinguishable visually. For complex textures such as wood grain and rock strata, we adopt silicone mold transfer technology, achieving detail fidelity of over 92%.
Inorganic mineral pigments (UV resistance ≥3,000 hours) are selected, and color difference is controlled through a dual process of substrate coloring plus surface spraying. After 10 years of outdoor exposure testing, Qinglong GRC faux stone panels showed a ΔE change of ≤2.0, far superior to painted finishes. For the Nanning Liyuan Hotel project, we retain samples from each batch for color comparison to ensure color-difference-free repairs later.
Surface treatments such as sandblasting and acid washing replicate stone grain; matte or semi-matte protective agents are selected to avoid a “plastic feel”. Qinglong Group's faux stone panels achieved a measured tactile similarity of 88%, meeting the requirements of high-end projects. The fidelity standard embodies the fusion of art and technology.
