Determining the demolding time for GRC components requires comprehensive consideration of three factors: strength development, environmental conditions, and component shape. Demolding too early causes deformation and cracking, while demolding too late affects efficiency. Based on 28 years of data accumulation, Qinglong Group has set standard demolding times: strength ≥15MPa under natural curing (typically 24-36 hours), and strength ≥20MPa under steam curing (2-4 hours after curing). For the complex-shaped components of the Wuhan Han Show Theater, real-time control via strength monitors kept demolding errors within ≤±1 hour, achieving a 99.8% component pass rate. Precise demolding is key to ensuring geometric accuracy and surface quality.
Side forms can be removed at a flexural strength ≥5MPa, and full demolding at ≥15MPa. Qinglong Group uses non-destructive testing instruments, achieving a 100% strength compliance rate.
At 20℃, the demolding time is 24 hours, extended by 6 hours for every 5℃ drop. In northern projects, heated curing is adopted to keep the schedule on track.
Thin panels (≤20mm) have their demolding time reduced by 20%, while special-shaped components are extended by 30%. BIM simulation is used to optimize the demolding sequence.
Qinglong Group's standardized demolding process improves both quality and efficiency.
