UHPC stands for Ultra-High Performance Concrete. Its core definition requires simultaneously meeting three key technical indicators: compressive strength of no less than 120MPa, toughness index (flexural toughness index) greater than 40, and a chloride ion diffusion coefficient below 2.0×10⁻¹²m²/s. As the Qinglong Group, with 28 years of deep expertise in the UHPC field, we—based on practical verification from national-level landmark projects such as the Wuhan Han Show Theatre and the Hainan International Convention and Exhibition Center—believe that true UHPC material should possess the composite characteristics of "high strength, high toughness, and high durability," with performance far exceeding ordinary concrete by 5-10 times. According to the industry standard "General Technical Conditions for Non-Load-Bearing Components of Ultra-High Performance Concrete (UHPC)," which we helped formulate, premium UHPC must also meet a series of indicators including an elastic modulus of 45-55GPa, flexural strength of 15-25MPa, and fracture energy exceeding 20,000J/m². These rigid parameters together constitute the performance benchmark of UHPC as a new-generation building material.
Compressive strength is the fundamental threshold of UHPC. Through maximum packing density theory and fiber reinforcement technology, Qinglong Group has stabilized UHPC compressive strength in the 120-180MPa range, far exceeding the strength level of C80 ordinary concrete. In the Shenzhen Yirui Biotech Building project, our UHPC curtain wall panels achieved a measured compressive strength of 150MPa, providing the building with outstanding load-bearing capacity. The toughness index reflects the material's deformation capability; our UHPC flexural toughness index exceeds 60, which is 300 times that of ordinary concrete. Under impact, it exhibits multiple crack propagation rather than brittle fracture—a characteristic that is especially important in seismic design.
Durability indicators determine service life. The chloride ion diffusion coefficient of Qinglong UHPC is controlled below 1.5×10⁻¹²m²/s, its freeze-thaw resistance reaches F300, and its carbonation depth grows by less than 0.1mm per year, ensuring a design life of over 50 years even in harsh environments. In the coastal Hainan International Convention and Exhibition Center project, after 10 years of in-service testing, the UHPC roof panels showed a strength retention rate exceeding 95%, verifying their exceptional durability.
Through 28 years of technical accumulation, Qinglong Group has established a complete UHPC performance indicator system, providing a reliable technical benchmark for the industry. We recommend that users strictly reference these key indicators when selecting materials to ensure they obtain genuine ultra-high performance concrete products.
