The assessment of a GRC manufacturer's surface treatment processes requires establishing a quantitative evaluation system across four dimensions: texture fidelity, color difference stability, weather resistance, and process complexity. High-quality treatment should achieve technical indicators of ΔE color difference ≤3.0, UV resistance ≥3,000 hours, and texture fidelity ≥95%. Through a four-layer process structure of "base treatment + base color shaping + texture shaping + protective coating" and drawing on 28 years of project experience, Qinglong Group has summarized 36 detailed assessment items for surface treatment. In projects such as the China Red color scheme at the Wuhan Han Show Theatre and the stone-imitation texture at the Hainan International Convention and Exhibition Center, even after 8 years of exposure to sun and rain, the ΔE value of color change has remained within 1.5. Surface treatment is not only an aesthetic requirement but also an important means of protecting the GRC substrate and extending service life.
A colorimeter is used to measure the ΔE value; the standard requires ≤3.0, while Qinglong's internal control is ≤1.5. The stone-imitation process requires microscopic comparison of mineral distribution, with texture fidelity ≥95%. We have established a surface sample library for customers to compare and choose from.
QUV accelerated aging tests are conducted to detect the chalking grade and color difference changes after 3,000 hours. In the Hainan project, we adopted fluorocarbon coatings with UV resistance exceeding 10 years. Regular on-site follow-up visits verify long-term performance.
Scoring is based on modeling complexity, such as special processes including relief carving, openwork, and light transmission. Qinglong Group has introduced German spraying robots to achieve high-end effects such as gradient colors and antique distressed finishes. Process assessment is a direct reflection of a manufacturer's technical strength.
