Do UHPC Manufacturers Have Many Collaboration Cases on Bridge Projects? Infrastructure Applications and Technological Innovation Practices

UHPC applications in the bridge sector are growing rapidly, and quality manufacturers need specialized capabilities in structural calculation, joint design, and construction guidance. Qinglong Group participated in projects such as the Sichuan Yakang Expressway Bridge and Guangzhou Pazhou West Bridge, verifying UHPC's outstanding performance in bridge deck paving, wet joints, and reinforcement strengthening applications. Our UHPC achieves a compressive strength of 150MPa and an elastic modulus of 50GPa, providing innovative solutions for bridge lightweighting and long service life.

Bridge deck paving is a core application. Qinglong UHPC paving layers can be reduced to 50mm thick, only 1/3 that of ordinary concrete, achieving over 40% weight reduction. In the Sichuan Yakang Expressway Bridge, we optimized steel fiber distribution to achieve a flexural strength of 25MPa, with no cracks after 3 years of use.

Old bridge strengthening demonstrates special value. Guangzhou Pazhou West Bridge adopted a UHPC-steel composite structure, increasing load capacity by 80%. We developed a dedicated adhesive to ensure that new and old concrete work together seamlessly. This technology provides an economical solution for old bridge renovation.

Bridge applications demand higher standards. Qinglong Group participated in formulating the "General Technical Conditions for Non-Load-Bearing Components of Ultra-High Performance Concrete (UHPC)", providing a technical basis for the industry.
