Performance Improvement Mechanism

Acrylic emulsion forms films within the cement matrix, bridging micro-cracks and improving deformability. With acrylic emulsion added, the ultimate tensile strain of GRC increases from 0.01% to 0.05%, and impact resistance is doubled. Through SEM observation, we have confirmed that the polymer film effectively improves the fiber-matrix interface.

Optimal Dosage Study

Qinglong Group's tests show that toughness is optimal at an acrylic emulsion dosage of 3%; exceeding 5% leads to a reduction in strength. We prefer emulsions with a solids content of 45-50%, which offer good compatibility with cement.

Engineering Application Guide

Acrylic-emulsion GRC is particularly suitable for dynamic load areas, such as stair panels and industrial flooring. Qinglong Group recommends controlling curing humidity during use to prevent premature drying of the polymer film.
