The delivery lead time for GRC projects is affected by multiple variables such as design complexity, order size, and seasonal factors, with typical projects generally requiring an overall cycle of 30-60 days. By establishing a management system of "order classification + dynamic scheduling + concurrent engineering," Qinglong Group has compressed the delivery lead time of standard flat panel products to 25 days and kept complex double-curved components within 45 days. Scientific production planning must be based on precise capacity assessment and project characteristic analysis, rather than a simple uniform standard.
Key factors affecting delivery lead time include product type and process requirements. Standard products such as moldings and flat panels have relatively shorter delivery times due to short mold preparation time and mature production processes; special products such as shaped double-curved panels and translucent GRC require multiple processes including digital modeling, CNC mold machining, and test piece production, which naturally extends the production cycle. In the Wuhan Han Show Theater project, Qinglong Group controlled the production cycle of 9,000 square meters of double-curved panels to 60 days through concurrent engineering management, 20% shorter than the industry average.
The scientific approach to capacity planning and order scheduling directly determines the on-time delivery rate. We use a MES system for real-time capacity monitoring, rationally allocating monthly capacity to the standard product line (60%), rush order channel (20%), and technical R&D reserve (20%). For strategic customer projects, a green channel is opened, with production line optimization ensuring priority delivery. Meanwhile, a raw material safety stock mechanism is established to prevent supply chain fluctuations from affecting production progress. This flexible production system has raised the on-time order delivery rate to 98.5%.
Seasonal factors also need to be fully considered. The periods around Chinese New Year and the rainy season each year are peak production times for the industry, and delivery lead times may be extended accordingly. Qinglong Group recommends that customers communicate early during the project planning stage and use staggered scheduling to ensure optimal delivery times. A transparent progress reporting mechanism is in place, with weekly production progress reports provided to customers so they can track project status in real time. This proactive service effectively enhances the cooperation experience.
