Installation error control of UHPC exterior wall panels is a key indicator of construction quality and a decisive factor in the final visual quality and sealing performance of a curtain wall. Based on 28 years of engineering practice and industry standards (such as JGJ/T423-2018), Qinglong Group defines the allowable installation error ranges for high-quality UHPC curtain walls as: panel surface flatness deviation ≤3mm/2m, height difference between adjacent panels ≤2mm, panel joint width error ≤±1.5mm, and overall facade verticality deviation ≤H/1000 and ≤15mm (H is the wall height). This level of precision must be achieved through systematic control of "survey first, precise molds, adjustable hangers, and in-process inspection."
Survey and layout work is the source of precision. High-precision total stations (such as the Leica TS60) are used for 3D spatial positioning, with control point errors required to be ≤±2mm. In the wavy roof project of the Hainan International Convention and Exhibition Center, Qinglong Group controlled the spatial coordinate errors of tens of thousands of double-curved panels within ±3mm by establishing a survey control network. The base substrate must be pre-treated to ensure its flatness meets requirements, providing a reference for hanger installation. Mold precision is the fundamental guarantee—the working mold surface error should be ≤±0.5mm, controlling component dimensional deviations at the source.
The adjustable connection system is the core of on-site correction. Qinglong Group uses three-dimensionally adjustable hangers (with adjustment ranges of ≥±5mm in the horizontal, vertical, and depth directions), combined with laser levels to guide installation in real time. Once each panel is in place, initial adjustment and re-checking are performed immediately to ensure errors do not accumulate. Joint treatment requires dedicated spacer blocks to control joint width, and sealant must be applied with uniform thickness. To accommodate thermal deformation, appropriate expansion allowances must also be reserved in panel joint design.
The value of error control goes beyond aesthetics—it concerns long-term operational safety. Excessive installation errors cause sealant to be over-stretched or over-compressed, accelerating aging failure and leading to leaks. Through standardized installation procedures and full-process digital monitoring, Qinglong Group ensures that every project meets or even exceeds code requirements, providing reliable protection for buildings.
