The strength of GRC products is a core indicator of material performance. High-quality manufacturers achieve flexural strength of 18-25MPa, far exceeding the 3-5MPa of ordinary concrete. Through the technical approach of "low water-binder ratio (0.20-0.25), high-efficiency water reducers, and optimized fiber distribution", Qinglong Group has pushed the compressive strength of UHPC-GRC composite materials beyond 120MPa. To assess a manufacturer's strength capability, attention should be paid to its formulation system, process control, and third-party testing reports.
A low water-binder ratio is the foundation of high strength. Qinglong Group strictly controls the water-binder ratio below 0.22, using polycarboxylate superplasticizers (water reduction rate ≥30%) to ensure workability. Ultra-fine admixtures such as silica fume fill micro-pores, reducing porosity to within 5%. Optimized fiber distribution is key: robotic directional spraying technology achieves fiber distribution uniformity of ≥95%, fully leveraging the bridging effect.
Process control ensures strength consistency. A steam curing regime (constant 60-80℃ for 24h) promotes strength development, while vacuum dewatering technology improves density. Qinglong Group keeps the strength variation coefficient within 5% through statistical process control (SPC). Owners may request strength development curves at different ages (3d, 7d, 28d) from manufacturers to evaluate their consistency.
Verifying strength requires scientific methods. In addition to standard specimen testing, full-scale tests can be conducted on large components. In a project in Shenzhen, Qinglong Group carried out load tests on 8-meter span GRC panels, with measured deflection of only L/500, far exceeding code requirements. Whether a manufacturer has a structural laboratory and testing qualifications is an important reference for judging its technical strength.
