The stacking management of GRC components is a critical link in ensuring transportation and installation quality, and must follow three major principles: level and stable placement, moisture and damage prevention, and organized classification. Based on extensive project practice, Qinglong Group believes that a quality stacking plan should keep the component breakage rate below 0.1%, ensuring the safety of components throughout the entire process from factory to installation through scientific stacking design and strict on-site management.
The stacking site must be level and solid, with load-bearing capacity meeting requirements. In the Hainan International Convention and Exhibition Center project, Qinglong Group used concrete hardened ground with a flatness deviation ≤3mm/2m to prevent component deformation caused by uneven foundation settlement. Support timbers are standardized with a cross-section of 100×100mm, and spacing is determined according to component dimensions, generally not exceeding 1/4 of the component length. For special-shaped components, dedicated supports are fabricated to ensure even load distribution. The number of stacking layers is determined by component strength, generally not exceeding 6 layers, with support timbers between layers aligned vertically to avoid stress concentration at point contacts.
Moisture-proof and damage-prevention measures are essential. For outdoor stacking, cover components with waterproof tarpaulin to prevent rainwater erosion. In the Nanning Wuxiang China Resources MixC One project, Qinglong Group built rain shelters to keep the stacking environment dry. Corner protectors are added to vulnerable parts such as component edges and corners, and components are securely fastened during transportation to prevent collisions. Clear labeling, including component numbers, installation positions, and other information, facilitates retrieval and management. These measures effectively reduce component loss.
Organized classification improves efficiency. Components are stacked in zones according to installation sequence, with later-installed components placed on top or outside. Special components are stored separately with priority protection. Qinglong Group uses a QR code management system to track component locations and statuses in real time, improving management efficiency. Scientific stacking lays a solid foundation for smooth installation.
