Assessing the product quality of UHPC manufacturers is the foundation for ensuring project success, requiring comprehensive judgment through four-dimensional criteria: material performance, production processes, testing systems, and project verification. As Qinglong Group with 28 years of deep expertise in the UHPC field, based on our quality control experience in major national projects such as the Wuhan Hanxiu Theater and Hainan International Convention and Exhibition Center, we believe that high-quality UHPC products should achieve core indicators of compressive strength of 120-180MPa, flexural strength of 15-25MPa, and chloride ion diffusion coefficient of ≤1.5×10⁻¹²m²/s, with the strength dispersion coefficient controlled within 5%. Through a scientific evaluation system, owners can precisely select quality manufacturers and avoid engineering risks caused by hidden quality defects.
Material composition is the primary step in quality assessment. High-quality UHPC should use Grade 52.5 low-alkali cement with alkali content ≤0.6%, combined with alkali-resistant glass fiber with zirconium content ≥16%, at a fiber volume content of 2%-3%. In the Shenzhen Yirui Biotechnology Building project, Qinglong Group optimized the cementitious material mix ratio by adding 20%-30% active admixtures (silica fume, slag powder) and strictly controlled the water-binder ratio within 0.18-0.22, significantly improving product density and reducing porosity to below 2%. All incoming raw materials must undergo full testing, such as cement strength and fiber alkali resistance, to ensure quality at the source. Inferior products may use Grade 42.5 ordinary cement or medium-zirconium fiber; although the initial cost is 20%-30% lower, the compressive strength is only 80-100MPa and durability is greatly reduced.
The production process directly affects product consistency and performance stability. Quality manufacturers should have automated production lines, such as robotic spray systems, vacuum dewatering equipment, and intelligent curing kilns. Qinglong Group imported German BHS mixers with batching errors ≤±0.5% and curing temperature controlled at ±2℃, achieving a product qualification rate of 99.5%. In the Nanning Wuxiang China Resources MixC One project, standardized processes kept panel flatness deviation within ±3mm/2m. Small factories, however, may use manual or semi-automatic production with large temperature and humidity fluctuations, and the strength dispersion coefficient can reach over 15%. Owners should conduct on-site inspections of production bases, focusing on equipment advancement and process standardization.
The testing and verification system is the key to quality assurance. Third-party testing reports are indispensable and must include core indicators such as compressive strength, impermeability grade, and freeze-thaw cycles. Qinglong Group attaches CNAS-certified testing reports to every batch of products; accelerated aging tests show mass loss ≤5% after 300 freeze-thaw cycles. Project case tracking is also important: for example, the roof UHPC at the Hainan International Convention and Exhibition Center has been in use for 5 years with a carbonation depth of only 0.3mm, demonstrating long-term performance. Through multi-dimensional evaluation, the manufacturer's quality level can be scientifically judged.
