The difference in material density is the main reason. UHPC has a bulk density of 1.8-2.0g/cm³, compared with 2.4-2.6g/cm³ for traditional concrete. Through optimization, Qinglong Group has further reduced weight. In a Shenzhen project, the UHPC curtain wall was 75% lighter than stone, which simplified the supporting structure and saved costs.
