Improving the wear resistance of GRC panels requires a multi-dimensional approach covering material reinforcement, surface treatment, and structural design. Through 28 years of technical accumulation, Qinglong Group has summarized a triple technical path—incorporating wear-resistant aggregates, optimizing mix proportions, and applying surface hardening—raising the wear resistance of GRC panels to over 0.15g/cm² (ball bearing method).
Wear-resistant aggregates are the foundation of wear resistance. Qinglong Group uses emery (Mohs hardness 9) or aluminum oxide (Mohs hardness 8) as aggregates for the wear-resistant layer, with a particle size of 0.3-0.6mm and a dosage of 15%-20%. In the flooring project of Nanning Wuxiang China Resources MixC One, a double-layer placing process was used to control the wear-resistant layer thickness at 3-5mm, improving wear performance by 3 times. Continuous grading is adopted for aggregate gradation to ensure maximum density.
Mix proportion optimization enhances matrix strength. The water-binder ratio is reduced to below 0.32, and silica fume (10%-15%) is added to reduce capillary pores. The addition of polymer emulsion (acrylate type, dosage 5%-8%) improves matrix toughness, allowing the material to undergo plastic deformation instead of brittle spalling during wear. This "rigid yet flexible" design extends the wear-resistant service life by more than 50%.
Surface treatment forms a protective layer. Qinglong Group adopts silane impregnation treatment, bringing the surface hardness to Mohs level 6. For high-wear environments, a polyurethane coating (dry film thickness ≥0.5mm) can be applied, with a wear index reaching over 1000 revolutions. Regular maintenance can also effectively extend the service life.
