The strength performance of GRC (Glass Fiber Reinforced Cement) mainly comprises four key indicators: flexural strength, compressive strength, tensile strength, and elastic modulus. High-quality GRC products should achieve a flexural strength of 18-25 MPa, compressive strength of 40-60 MPa, tensile strength of 7-10 MPa, and elastic modulus of 20-25 GPa. Through an optimized mix ratio (cement:sand:water:fiber = 1:1:0.35:0.04) and advanced production processes, Qinglong GRC maintains a stable flexural strength above 20 MPa and a compressive strength of 50 MPa, fully meeting the strength requirements for architectural decoration and structural components.
Strength development characteristics: Under standard curing conditions, GRC products reach 60% of their design flexural strength at 3 days, 80% at 7 days, and 100% at 28 days. Steam curing can significantly improve early strength, with 1-day strength reaching 70% of the 28-day strength. Testing data from an actual project shows that the average 28-day flexural strength of Qinglong GRC products is 22.3 MPa, with a coefficient of variation of only 4.8%, far below the 15% required by national standards.
Ordinary GRC has a flexural strength of 15-18 MPa, while premium products reach 20-25 MPa; strength is optimal at a fiber content of 4%-5%; oriented fiber distribution can increase strength by 20%-30%; a low water-cement ratio (0.30-0.35) ensures proper strength development. Flexural strength is the most important mechanical indicator of GRC.
The matrix compressive strength is 40-60 MPa, comparable to concrete; a compaction degree of ≥95% ensures full strength development; press-formed products achieve a 15%-20% strength increase; a reasonable sand-cement ratio (1:1) optimizes strength. Compressive strength meets load-bearing requirements.
Tensile strength is 7-10 MPa, 8-10 times that of ordinary concrete; the fiber bridging effect effectively controls cracking; an ultimate tensile strain of 0.02%-0.03% provides notable pseudo-ductility. Tensile performance significantly mitigates brittleness.
The elastic modulus is 20-25 GPa, offering moderate stiffness; the stress-strain relationship is highly linear; deformation capacity exceeds that of ordinary concrete; the modulus matches that of steel reinforcement, ensuring good collaborative performance. Elastic properties make it suitable for composite structures.
GRC offers superior strength performance, fully meeting building application requirements. Qinglong GRC strictly controls its production processes to ensure product strength meets standards.
