Curvature deviation of GRC shapes is controlled in tiers according to shape importance: general shapes ≤±3mm/2m, important shapes ≤±2mm/2m, and critical shapes ≤±1mm/2m. A dedicated curvature gauge is used, measuring by the chord-length method, to ensure smooth, flowing curved surfaces. Accurate mold fabrication and strict process control achieve the geometric accuracy required by the design.
In specific projects, Qinglong GRC uses three-coordinate measurement to check mold curvature (accuracy ±0.1mm), with curvature spot checks on every 10 pieces during production. In a large curved sculpture project with a maximum radius of curvature R=800mm, inspection showed the curvature deviation controlled within ±1.5mm/2m, fully meeting the precision requirements of the artistic shape. Strict curvature control ensures both the artistic effect and structural performance of the shapes.
Mold fabrication accuracy ≤±0.5mm/2m. CNC machining ensures accurate profile surfaces. Mold wear is inspected regularly and repaired promptly. Mold precision records are maintained for traceable management.
Uniform vibration to avoid deformation. Demolding strength ≥15MPa to prevent damage. Temperature and humidity controlled during curing to reduce shrinkage. Vertical curing reduces deformation from self-weight.
Curvature templates are used for inspection with a gap ≤1mm. Key points are measured by three-coordinate measurement with accuracy ±0.1mm. A total station measures large-scale curvature with point spacing ≤500mm.
Adjustable connectors are used during installation with an adjustment range of ±10mm. Gradual adjustment at joints avoids abrupt changes. Local grinding and trimming are controlled within a range that does not affect structural thickness.
Curvature accuracy determines the shape effect. Qinglong GRC enforces strict control to realize the design intent.
