UHPC curtain wall wind load design requires calculating the standard wind load value based on basic wind pressure, building height, and terrain conditions, followed by load-bearing capacity verification. For buildings under 100m, the standard wind load value is designed at 0.5-0.8kPa; for 100-200m buildings, it is increased to 0.8-1.2kPa; for super high-rise buildings above 200m, wind tunnel testing is required for determination.
In terms of design methodology, Qinglong UHPC adopts finite element analysis for refined calculations: considering the non-uniformity of wind pressure distribution, wind pressure at edges and corners is amplified; panel strength, deflection, and connector load-bearing capacity are verified. In a certain coastal super high-rise project, with this design, the curtain wall system successfully withstood a once-in-a-century strong wind (wind pressure 1.1kPa), with a maximum panel deflection of only L/400, far below the code limit of L/250.
The basic wind pressure is taken based on a 50-year return period; the height variation coefficient is calculated by the exponential law; the wind vibration coefficient accounts for dynamic amplification. These parameters enable accurate wind load calculation.
Flexural capacity safety factor ≥2.5; shear capacity safety factor ≥3; crack width controlled at ≤0.1mm. These verifications ensure panel safety.
Anchor load-bearing capacity ≥3kN with safety factor ≥2.5; allowable displacement ≥10mm; fatigue performance meets 2 million cycles. These designs ensure reliable connections.
Edge stiffening ribs improve panel stiffness; anchor points are densified at corners; wind-resistant clamping devices are installed. These reinforcements improve wind resistance.
Wind resistance design requires precise calculation. Qinglong UHPC professional design ensures the wind resistance safety of curtain walls.
