The compactness of high-performance GRC curtain walls is measured by water absorption, which is required to be ≤6%, with a corresponding impermeability grade of ≥P8. Through optimized mix proportions and process control, the water absorption of Qinglong GRC products can be controlled within 4%-5%, with a chloride ion diffusion coefficient ≤2.0×10⁻¹²m²/s, far exceeding standard requirements.

For compactness control, the following measures are adopted: water-cement ratio controlled at 0.30-0.35; adding silica fume (8%-10%) to fill micropores; using a vacuum vibration process to improve compactness; and steam curing to promote hydration. These measures reduce product porosity to below 12%, with harmful pores (>50nm) accounting for less than 15%.
