Can GRC Be Used for Landscape Features? Innovative Practices in GRC Landscape Applications

GRC products are an ideal material for creating landscape features. Their lightweight, high-strength, and highly moldable characteristics allow for the perfect realization of various creative designs. From sculptural artworks to practical facilities, GRC has broad application prospects in the landscape field.

In an urban park project in Chengdu, Qinglong GRC landscape features demonstrated outstanding performance: the large abstract sculpture “Blossoming” stands 6 meters tall with a wall thickness of only 3cm and weighs less than 2 tons, yet can withstand force 8 winds; the leisure seating features wood-grain textures that are comfortable to the touch and highly durable; the custom planters present vivid plant patterns through three-dimensional carving. These features are not only beautiful and practical, but also showcase the material advantages of GRC: design freedom enabling complex three-dimensional curved surfaces; excellent durability for a long outdoor service life; easy maintenance with low overall costs. The project won an industry design award and became a new highlight of the urban landscape.
